The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Estacado Matadors (Lubbock, TX) and the visiting Levelland Lobos (Levelland, TX), observed Estacado's basketball team overwhelm Levelland by a margin of 81-56.

The Matadors (22-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Snyder (Snyder, TX). The Tigers come into the 4A Region I District 5 challenge with a 6-20 record.

In their next game, the Lobos battle the Liberty Patriots (Lubbock, TX) in a 4A Region I District 5 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Levelland will attempt to better on its 14-16 season record. The Patriots come into the challenge with a 22-4 record after their 61-46 league win over Lake View (San Angelo, TX).
