In Friday's league contest, the visiting Fall Creek Crickets basketball team scored a good 54-34 triumph over the Thorp Cardinals.
The Crickets (6-5) will now prepare for their contest against Whitehall (Whitehall, WI). The Norse go into the non-league contest with a 6-6 record. In their last contest, Whitehall was topped by Blair-Taylor (Blair, WI), 66-61, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Cardinals battle the McDonell Central Macks (Chippewa Falls, WI) in a Cloverbelt - West contest, on Monday, January 27. Thorp will attempt to better on its 2-9 season record. The Macks go into the contest with a 10-6 record after their 77-70 league loss to Regis (Eau Claire, WI).
