Virginia High School Basketball - Meridian routs Fauquier

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Meridian Mustangs basketball team scored a big 62-39 triumph over the Fauquier Falcons.

The Mustangs (13-0) will now prepare for their contest against Manassas Park (Manassas Park, VA). The Cougars go into the Northwestern contest with a 1-13 record. In their last contest, Manassas Park was trounced by Handley (Winchester, VA), 108-22, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Falcons battle the Warren County Wildcats (Front Royal, VA) in a Northwestern contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Fauquier will attempt to better on its 9-4 season record.
