The Mustangs (8-9) will now prepare for their challenge against Covenant Classical (Fort Worth, TX). The Cavaliers come into the TAPPS 3A District 1 challenge with a 14-10 record. In their last challenge, Covenant Classical was routed by Abilene Christian (Abilene, TX), 73-67, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Lions encounter the Christian Life Preparatory Knights (Fort Worth, TX) in a TAPPS 3A District 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Weatherford Christian will attempt to improve on its 4-15 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 5-13 record after their 67-38 league loss to Calvary Academy (Denton, TX).
