The Floyd County Buffaloes (Floyd, VA) basketball edged the visiting Magna Vista Warriors (Ridgeway, VA), 2-0 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Buffaloes now possess a 11-3 record. They play next when they host James River for a Three Rivers bout on Monday, January 27. Floyd County will play a Knights team coming off a 54-21 league loss to Glenvar (Salem, VA). The Knights record now stands at 6-10.

With the loss, Magna Vista falls to 3-12 on the campaign. The Warriors travel to Bassett (Bassett, VA) to play the Bengals in a Piedmont bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Bengals go into the bout with a record of 4-11. Bassett lost 64-57 in their recent league bout against George Washington (Danville, VA)
