New York High School Basketball - Fort Edward nips Lake George

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Fort Edward Flying Forts basketball team scored a close 46-43 triumph over the Lake George Lakers.

The Flying Forts (4-6) will now prepare for their contest against Hudson Ridge (Albany, NY). The Thunder Chicken go into the non-league contest with a 3-5 record. In their last contest, Hudson Ridge was tipped by Loudonville Christian (Loudonville, NY), 73-41, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Lakers battle the Hadley Luzerne Eagles (Lake Luzerne, NY) in a Section 2 Adirondack contest, on Friday, January 31. Lake George will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record.
