The Franklin County Flyers basketball team scored 53 points and limited the visiting Frankfort Panthers to 43 in the Flyers league triumph on Friday.

The Flyers now have a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Dixie Heights for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Franklin County will confront a Colonels team coming off a 60-40 non-league win over Tates Creek (Lexington, KY). The Colonels record now stands at 11-3.

With the loss, Frankfort falls to 11-6 on the campaign. The Panthers host Shelby County (Shelbyville, KY) to confront the Rockets in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The Rockets go into the game with a record of 1-15.
