The Gateway Gators basketball team scored 64 points and limited the host Franklin Regional Panthers to 53 in the Gators league triumph on Friday.

The Gators now have a 7-7 record. They play next when they host Albert Gallatin for a WPIAL 5A 1 game on Tuesday, January 28.

With the loss, Franklin Regional falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Panthers host Plum (Pittsburgh, PA) to confront the Mustangs in a non-league game on Monday, January 27. The Mustangs go into the game with a record of 7-7. Plum lost 60-59 in their recent league game against Shaler Area (Pittsburgh, PA)
