The Lincoln County Patriots nipped the visiting Garrard County Golden Lions basketball squad by a final score of 44-39 in Friday's league outing.
Next, the Patriots face the Boyle County Rebels (Danville, KY) in a District 45 outing, on Saturday, January 25. Lincoln County will attempt to upgrade on its 11-6 season record. The Rebels enter the outing with a 8-5 record after their 57-51 non-league win over West Jessamine (Nicholasville, KY).
The Golden Lions (9-7) will now prepare for their outing against Danville (Danville, KY). The Admirals enter the District 45 outing with a 4-11 record. In their last outing, Danville was nipped by Wayne County (Monticello, KY), 54-45, in a non-league outing.
