Kansas High School Basketball - Herington nudges Goessel

The crowd at Friday's non-league challenge between the Herington Railroaders (Herington, KS) and the visiting Goessel Bluebirds (Goessel, KS), observed Herington's basketball team edge Goessel by a score of 45-43.

The Railroaders (3-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Wakefield (Wakefield, KS). The Bombers come into the non-league challenge with a 0-9 record. In their last challenge, Wakefield was tipped by Rural Vista [Hope/White City] (Hope, KS), 55-25, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Bluebirds encounter the Centre Cougars (Lost Springs, KS) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, January 25. Goessel will attempt to improve on its 0-10 season record. The Cougars come into the challenge with a 2-6 record after their 65-54 league loss to Peabody-Burns (Peabody, KS).
