In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Northside Rams basketball team scored a close 53-51 triumph over the Gordo Green Wave.
The Rams (18-6) will now prepare for their contest against American Christian Academy (Tuscaloosa, AL). The Patriots go into the non-league contest with a 6-16 record. In their last contest, American Christian Academy nipped Prattville Christian Academy (Prattville, AL), 47-44, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Green Wave confront the Holt Ironmen (Holt, AL) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Gordo will attempt to better on its 6-10 season record. The Ironmen go into the contest with a 4-17 record after their 71-50 league loss to Bibb County (Centreville, AL).
