The Red River Roughriders (Grand Forks, ND) basketball toppled the visiting Grand Forks Central Knights (Grand Forks, ND), 73-65 in Friday's league bout.
The Roughriders now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Fargo Davies for a AA East bout on Tuesday, January 28. Red River will play a Eagles team coming off a 97-76 league win over Horace (Horace, ND). The Eagles record now stands at 10-2.
With the loss, Grand Forks Central falls to 4-10 on the campaign. The Knights travel to Devils Lake (Devils Lake, ND) to play the Firebirds in a non-league bout on Friday, January 31. The Firebirds go into the bout with a record of 13-0.
