The Midland Valley Mustangs basketball squad (Graniteville, SC), was crushed 88-50 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Gray Collegiate Academy War Eagles (West Columbia, SC)
With the victory, Gray Collegiate Academy advances its record to 10-7 on the year. The War Eagles host North Augusta (North Augusta, SC) to meet the Yellow Jackets in a AAAA Region 4 battle on Tuesday, January 28. The Yellow Jackets enter the battle with a record of 16-0. North Augusta won 74-40 in their recent league battle against Midland Valley (Graniteville, SC)
The Mustangs now own a 14-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to North Augusta for a AAAA Region 4 battle on Saturday, January 25. Midland Valley will meet a Yellow Jackets squad coming off a 69-57 league win over Brookland-Cayce (Cayce, SC). The Yellow Jackets record now stands at 15-0.
