The New Covenant School Cavaliers basketball team scored 55 points and limited the visiting Greenville Classical Academy Lions to 31 in the Cavaliers league triumph on Friday.

The Cavaliers now possess a 13-5 record. They play next when they host Temple Christian Academy for a South Carolina Christian AA - Piedmont A game on Thursday, January 30. New Covenant School will confront a Warriors team coming off a 72-64 non-league loss to Foothills Christian (Westminster, SC). The Warriors record now stands at 13-5.

With the loss, Greenville Classical Academy falls to 1-9 on the campaign. The Lions travel to Anderson Christian (Anderson, SC) to confront the Lions in a non-league game on Friday, January 31. The Lions go into the game with a record of 9-15. Anderson Christian lost 59-57 in their recent league game against Wardlaw Academy (Johnston, SC)
