Texas High School Basketball - Motley County defeats Guthrie

The Motley County Matadors (Matador, TX) basketball were winner over the visiting Guthrie Jaguars (Guthrie, TX), 62-53 in Friday's league bout.
The Matadors now possess a 4-6 record. They play next when they travel to Patton Springs for a 1A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 28. Motley County will play a Rangers team coming off a 57-20 league loss to Valley (Turkey, TX). The Rangers record now stands at 11-12.
With the loss, Guthrie falls to 15-13 on the campaign. The Jaguars host Paducah (Paducah, TX) to play the Dragons in a 1A Region I District 8 bout on Tuesday, January 28. The Dragons go into the bout with a record of 9-6.
