The Cougars now possess a 12-9 record. They play next when they travel to Monte Vista for a Grossmont - Valley game on Tuesday, January 28. Steele Canyon will confront a Monarchs team coming off a 73-70 league win over Helix (La Mesa, CA). The Monarchs record now stands at 13-9.

With the loss, Helix falls to 6-16 on the campaign. The Highlanders travel to Mount Miguel (Spring Valley, CA) to confront the Matadors in a Grossmont - Valley game on Tuesday, January 28. The Matadors go into the game with a record of 10-9. Mount Miguel won 65-54 in their recent league game against El Capitan (Lakeside, CA)
