In Friday's league contest, the visiting Penn Manor Comets basketball team scored a good 53-45 win over the Hempfield Black Knights.
The Comets (12-5) will now prepare for their contest against Daniel Boone (Birdsboro, PA). The Blazers come into the non-league contest with a 5-9 record.
In their next game, the Black Knights battle the Ephrata Mountaineers (Ephrata, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Hempfield will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Mountaineers come into the contest with a 11-6 record after their 52-42 non-league loss to Garden Spot (New Holland, PA).
