Ohio High School Basketball - Shelby fells Highland

January 24, 2025: Shelby, OH 44875

The Shelby Whippets basketball team scored 65 points and limited the visiting Highland Fighting Scots to 50 in the Whippets league triumph on Friday.

The Whippets now have a 9-6 record. They play next when they travel to Madison Comprehensive for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Shelby will confront a Rams team coming off a 68-42 league loss to Mansfield Senior (Mansfield, OH). The Rams record now stands at 4-11.

With the loss, Highland falls to 6-10 on the campaign. The Fighting scots host KIPP Columbus (Columbus, OH) to confront the Jaguars in a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. The Jaguars go into the game with a record of 5-5. KIPP Columbus won 97-28 in their recent league game against Cristo Rey (Columbus, OH)
