The Westwood Longhorns basketball team scored 71 points and limited the visiting Hillcrest Vikings to 60 in the Longhorns league triumph on Friday.

The Longhorns now have a 9-10 record. They play next when they host Oakhaven for a 1A District 16 game on Tuesday, January 28. Westwood will confront a Hawks team coming off a 62-25 league win over Memphis School of Excellence Winchester (Memphis, TN). The Hawks record now stands at 7-7.

With the loss, Hillcrest falls to 12-6 on the campaign. The Vikings host Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova (Cordova, TN) to confront the Eagles in a 1A District 16 game on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 0-8. Memphis School of Excellence - Cordova lost 76-67 in their recent league game against City University School of Liberal Arts (Memphis, TN)
