California High School Basketball - Lincoln holds off Hoover

The Lincoln Hornets basketball team scored 64 points and limited the visiting Hoover Cardinals to 57 in the Hornets league triumph on Friday.

The Hornets now possess a 6-14 record. They play next when they travel to Fairmont Prep for a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. Lincoln will confront a Huskies team coming off a 77-39 league win over Western Christian (Upland, CA). The Huskies record now stands at 14-8.

With the loss, Hoover falls to 7-15 on the campaign. The Cardinals travel to Santiago (Corona, CA) to confront the Sharks in a non-league game on Saturday, January 25. The Sharks go into the game with a record of 19-8. Santiago won 45-40 in their recent league game against Norco (Norco, CA)
