New York High School Basketball - Wellsville knocks off Hornell

In Friday's non-league contest, the visiting Wellsville Lions basketball team scored a good 63-54 win over the Hornell Red Raiders.
The Lions (7-4) will now prepare for their contest against Palmyra-Macedon (Palmyra, NY). The Red Raiders come into the non-league contest with a 7-4 record. In their last contest, Palmyra-Macedon was topped by Waterloo (Waterloo, NY), 69-56, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Red Raiders battle the Avon Braves (Avon, NY) in a non-league contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Hornell will attempt to better on its 7-5 season record. The Braves come into the contest with a 10-2 record after their 57-51 league loss to Le Roy (Le Roy, NY).
