Tennessee High School Basketball - Perry County beaten by Hughes

The Hughes Lions were victorious over the visiting Perry County Vikings basketball squad by a final score of 50-40 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Lions clash with the Mt. Pleasant Tigers (Mt. Pleasant, TN) in a non-league outing, on Saturday, January 25. Hughes will attempt to upgrade on its 10-6 season record. The Tigers enter the outing with a 12-4 record after their 99-38 league win over Battle Creek (Spring Hill, TN).

The Vikings (7-12) will now prepare for their outing against Summertown (Summertown, TN). The Eagles enter the non-league outing with a 15-5 record. In their last outing, Summertown ran past Battle Creek (Spring Hill, TN), 102-25, in a league outing.
