The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Jackson County Blue Devils (Gainesboro, TN) and the visiting Watertown Purple Tigers (Watertown, TN), observed Jackson County's basketball team overwhelm Watertown by a score of 68-32.

The Blue Devils (15-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Monterey (Monterey, TN). The Wildcats come into the 2A District 5 challenge with a 6-13 record.

In their next game, the Purple Tigers encounter the Westmoreland Eagles (Westmoreland, TN) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Watertown will attempt to improve on its 7-8 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 10-8 record after their 52-26 league loss to White House-Heritage (White House, TN).
