The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Jackson South Side Hawks (Jackson, TN) and the visiting McNairy Central Bobcats (Selmer, TN), observed Jackson South Side's basketball team overwhelm McNairy Central by a margin of 92-56.

The Hawks (12-1) will now prepare for their challenge against Hardin County (Savannah, TN). The Tigers come into the 3A District 12 challenge with a 9-7 record. In their last challenge, Hardin County was trounced by Jackson North Side (Jackson, TN), 83-47, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Bobcats battle the Lexington Tigers (Lexington, TN) in a 3A District 12 challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. McNairy Central will attempt to better on its 9-11 season record. The Tigers come into the challenge with a 10-10 record after their 47-41 league loss to Chester County (Henderson, TN).
