Indiana High School Basketball - South Adams can't get by Jay County

The South Adams Starfires basketball squad (Berne, IN), was nudged 49-45 in Friday's league battle with the visiting Jay County Patriots (Portland, IN)

With the victory, Jay County advances its record to 8-5 on the year. The Patriots host Bluffton (Bluffton, IN) to meet the Tigers in a Allen County battle on Friday, January 31. The Tigers enter the battle with a record of 6-5. Bluffton won 49-46 in their recent non-league battle against Adams Central (Monroe, IN)

The Starfires now own a 2-9 record. They put it on the line next when they host Muncie Burris for a non-league battle on Saturday, January 25. South Adams will meet a Owls squad coming off a 64-51 non-league loss to Cowan (Muncie, IN). The Owls record now stands at 0-10.
