In Friday's league test, the Knappa Loggers (Astoria, OR) basketball squad trounced the visiting Nestucca Bobcats (Cloverdale, OR), by a final score of 55-30.
Next, the Loggers clash with the Gaston Greyhounds (Gaston, OR) in a 2A Northwest test, on Monday, January 27. Knappa will attempt to upgrade on its 18-3 season record. The Greyhounds come into the test with a 1-18 record after their 61-56 league loss to Vernonia (Vernonia, OR).
The Bobcats (11-8) will now prepare for their test against Columbia Christian (Portland, OR). The Knights come into the 2A Northwest test with a 5-11 record. In their last test, Columbia Christian was overwhelmed by Clatskanie (Clatskanie, OR), 56-47, in a league test.
