In Friday's league contest, the host Stacey Eagles basketball team scored a big 72-26 triumph over the La Pryor Bulldogs.

The Eagles (13-8) will now prepare for their contest against Falls City (Falls City, TX). The Beavers go into the 2A Region IV District 30 contest with a 10-9 record. In their last contest, Falls City smashed Legacy Traditional Basse (San Antonio, TX), 78-37, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Bulldogs battle the Brackett Tigers (Brackettville, TX) in a 2A Region IV District 30 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. La Pryor will attempt to better on its 3-13 season record. The Tigers go into the contest with a 15-6 record after their 83-62 league win over Charlotte (Charlotte, TX).
