Vermont High School Basketball - Thetford Academy nips Lake Region

In Friday's league contest, the visiting Thetford Academy Panthers basketball team scored a close 49-43 win over the Lake Region Rangers.
The Panthers (10-1) will now prepare for their contest against Randolph (Randolph, VT). The Ghosts come into the Capital contest with a 5-7 record. In their last contest, Randolph was tipped by Lamoille (Hyde Park, VT), 76-40, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Rangers battle the Harwood Highlanders (Moretown, VT) in a Capital contest, on Wednesday, January 29. Lake Region will attempt to better on its 5-7 season record.
