The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Woodstock Wasps (Woodstock, VT) and the host Leland & Gray Rebels (Townshend, VT), observed Woodstock's basketball team knock off Leland & Gray by a score of 57-46.

The Wasps (8-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Mill River (North Clarendon, VT). The Minutemen come into the non-league challenge with a 2-12 record. In their last challenge, Mill River prevailed over Poultney (Poultney, VT), 59-58, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Rebels encounter the Twin Valley Wildcats (Wilmington, VT) in a Southern Vermont - C challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Leland & Gray will attempt to improve on its 1-11 season record. The Wildcats come into the challenge with a 8-4 record after their 75-42 non-league win over Long Trail (Dorset, VT).
