Texas High School Basketball - McKinney North holds off Lovejoy

In Friday's league contest, the host McKinney North Bulldogs basketball team scored a close 78-76 triumph over the Lovejoy Leopards.
The Bulldogs (11-13) will now prepare for their contest against Walnut Grove (Prosper, TX). The Wildcats go into the 5A Region II District 9 contest with a 22-9 record. In their last contest, Walnut Grove nipped Sherman (Sherman, TX), 77-48, in a league contest.
In their next game, the Leopards confront the Melissa Cardinals (Melissa, TX) in a 5A Region II District 9 contest, on Tuesday, January 28. Lovejoy will attempt to better on its 22-6 season record. The Cardinals go into the contest with a 16-11 record after their 93-65 league win over Denison (Denison, TX).
