Idaho High School Basketball - Salmon bests Mackay

January 24, 2025: Salmon, ID 83467

The Salmon Savages (Salmon, ID) basketball toppled the visiting Mackay Miners (Mackay, ID), 53-44 in Friday's non-league bout.

The Savages now possess a 6-9 record. They play next when they travel to Ririe for a 3A Nuclear bout on Tuesday, January 28. Salmon will play a Bulldogs team coming off a 58-34 non-league loss to Sugar-Salem (Sugar City, ID). The Bulldogs record now stands at 8-7.

With the loss, Mackay falls to 10-5 on the campaign. The Miners host Richfield (Richfield, ID) to play the Tigers in a non-league bout on Saturday, January 25. The Tigers go into the bout with a record of 3-11.
