In Friday's non-league contest, the host Madison Academy Mustangs basketball team scored a close 66-59 win over the Scottsboro Wildcats.
The Mustangs (19-7) will now prepare for their contest against Lindsay Lane Christian Academy (Athens, AL). The Lions come into the non-league contest with a 10-16 record. In their last contest, Lindsay Lane Christian Academy was tipped by Hackleburg (Hackleburg, AL), 72-39, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Wildcats battle the Huffman Vikings (Birmingham, AL) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. Scottsboro will attempt to better on its 14-12 season record. The Vikings come into the contest with a 21-5 record after their 39-22 league win over Mountain Brook (Birmingham, AL).
