The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the New Trier Trevians (Winnetka, IL) and the visiting Maine South Hawks (Park Ridge, IL), observed New Trier's basketball team knock off Maine South by a score of 56-43.

The Trevians (17-6) will now prepare for their challenge against Oak Park-River Forest (Oak Park, IL). The Huskies come into the non-league challenge with a 9-11 record. In their last challenge, Oak Park-River Forest prevailed over Thornwood (South Holland, IL), 64-55, in a non-league challenge.

In their next game, the Hawks encounter the Glenbrook North Spartans (Northbrook, IL) in a Central Suburban - South challenge, on Friday, January 31. Maine South will attempt to improve on its 10-12 season record.
