In Friday's non-league contest, the host Southern Regional Rams basketball team scored a close 48-47 triumph over the Manchester Township Hawks.
The Rams (11-4) will now prepare for their contest against Donovan Catholic (Toms River, NJ). The Griffins go into the non-league contest with a 9-10 record. In their last contest, Donovan Catholic nipped Toms River South (Toms River, NJ), 64-44, in a non-league contest.
In their next game, the Hawks battle the St. John-Vianney Lancers (Holmdel, NJ) in a non-league contest, on Saturday, January 25. Manchester Township will attempt to better on its 2-13 season record. The Lancers go into the contest with a 3-12 record after their 88-58 league loss to Rumson-Fair Haven (Rumson, NJ).
