In Friday's league test, the T.W. Andrews Red Raiders (High Point, NC) basketball squad trounced the visiting McMichael Phoenix (Mayodan, NC), by a final score of 76-51.

Next, the Red Raiders clash with the North Forsyth Vikings (Winston-Salem, NC) in a 2A Mid-State test, on Tuesday, January 28. T.W. Andrews will attempt to upgrade on its 9-8 season record. The Vikings come into the test with a 3-11 record after their 82-41 league loss to Reidsville (Reidsville, NC).

The Phoenix (4-12) will now prepare for their test against Morehead (Eden, NC). The Panthers come into the 2A Mid-State test with a 6-11 record. In their last test, Morehead was overwhelmed by Lexington (Lexington, NC), 53-49, in a non-league test.
