In Friday's league test, the San Angelo Central Bobcats (San Angelo, TX) basketball squad trounced the host Midland Bulldogs (Midland, TX), by a final score of 73-40.
Next, the Bobcats clash with the Odessa Bronchos (Odessa, TX) in a 6A Region I District 2 test, on Tuesday, January 28. San Angelo Central will attempt to upgrade on its 22-7 season record. The Bronchos come into the test with a 13-16 record after their 70-65 league win over Midland Legacy (Midland, TX).
The Bulldogs (10-19) will now prepare for their test against Frenship (Wolfforth, TX). The Tigers come into the 6A Region I District 2 test with a 20-7 record. In their last test, Frenship bounced Permian (Odessa, TX), 66-56, in a league test.
