The Moses Lake Mavericks basketball team scored 62 points and limited the visiting Sunnyside Grizzlies to 60 in the Mavericks league triumph on Friday.

The Mavericks now have a 9-7 record. They play next when they host Wenatchee for a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 game on Saturday, January 25. Moses Lake will confront a Panthers team coming off a 62-57 league loss to Eastmont (East Wenatchee, WA). The Panthers record now stands at 2-11.

With the loss, Sunnyside falls to 5-9 on the campaign. The Grizzlies host Eisenhower (Yakima, WA) to confront the Cadets in a 4A Columbia Basin Big-9 game on Friday, January 31. The Cadets go into the game with a record of 5-9. Eisenhower lost 56-43 in their recent league game against Davis (Yakima, WA)
