Michigan High School Basketball - Mott bests South Lyon East

The Mott Corsairs basketball team scored 70 points and limited the host South Lyon East Cougars to 52 in the Corsairs league triumph on Friday.
The Corsairs now possess a 14-1 record. They play next when they host Detroit Country Day for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Mott will play a Yellowjackets team coming off a 53-44 non-league loss to Maumee Valley Country Day (Toledo, OH). The Yellowjackets record now stands at 6-7.
With the loss, South Lyon East falls to 8-6 on the campaign. The Cougars host Lakeland (White Lake, MI) to play the Eagles in a Lakes Valley game on Tuesday, January 28. The Eagles go into the game with a record of 9-5. Lakeland won 41-34 in their recent league game against Walled Lake Northern (Commerce, MI)
