Pennsylvania High School Basketball - Mount Union can't hold off Northern Bedford County

Northern Bedford County Panthers (Loysburg, PA) supporters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the host Mount Union Trojans (Mount Union, PA), 45-40 in a league match.

With the victory, Northern Bedford County advances its record to 4-14 on the year. The Panthers travel to Southern Fulton (Warfordsburg, PA) to face the Indians in a non-league match on Tuesday, January 28. The Indians enter the match with a record of 6-11. Southern Fulton lost 54-37 in their recent non-league match against Shalom Christian Academy (Chambersburg, PA)

The Trojans now own a 9-8 record. They put it on the line next when they host Bald Eagle Area for a non-league match on Monday, January 27. Mount Union will face a Eagles squad coming off a 64-43 league loss to Central (Martinsburg, PA). The Eagles record now stands at 4-12.
