Maryland High School Basketball - Mountain Ridge bests Northern Garrett

January 24, 2025: Frostburg, MD 21532

The Mountain Ridge Miners (Frostburg, MD) basketball toppled the visiting Northern Garrett Huskies (Accident, MD), 77-58 in Friday's league bout.

The Miners now possess a 3-6 record. They play next when they travel to Allegany for a Appalachian contest on Tuesday, January 28.

In their next game, the Huskies confront the Meyersdale Red Raiders (Meyersdale, PA) in a non-league contest, on Monday, January 27. Northern Garrett will attempt to better on its 4-5 season record. The Red Raiders go into the contest with a 4-11 record after their 62-61 league win over Rockwood (Rockwood, PA).
