Texas High School Basketball - Smithson Valley beaten by New Braunfels

The New Braunfels Unicorns were victorious over the host Smithson Valley Rangers basketball squad by a final score of 75-56 in Friday's league outing.

Next, the Unicorns clash with the Boerne-Champion Chargers (Boerne, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 26 outing, on Tuesday, January 28. New Braunfels will attempt to upgrade on its 20-11 season record. The Chargers enter the outing with a 21-9 record after their 61-49 league loss to Pieper (San Antonio, TX).

The Rangers (10-12) will now prepare for their outing against Wagner (San Antonio, TX). The Thunderbirds enter the 5A Region IV District 26 outing with a 22-7 record. In their last outing, Wagner ran past Veterans Memorial (San Antonio, TX), 60-52, in a league outing.
