Rivercrest Colts (Wilson, AR) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad notch a victory over the host Newport Greyhounds (Newport, AR), 75-59 in a league match.

With the victory, Rivercrest upgrades its record to 13-5 on the year. The Colts travel to Manila (Manila, AR) to face the Lions in a 3A Region 3 match on Tuesday, January 28. The Lions enter the match with a record of 7-11.

The Greyhounds now sport a 18-6 record. They put it on the line next when they travel to Hazen for a non-league match on Monday, January 27.
