The Normandy Invaders basketball team scored 26 points and limited the host Valley Forge Patriots to 20 in the Invaders league triumph on Friday.

The Invaders now possess a 5-8 record. They play next when they host Independence for a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. Normandy will play a Blue Devils team coming off a 57-43 league win over Brooklyn (Brooklyn, OH). The Blue Devils record now stands at 8-5.

With the loss, Valley Forge falls to 2-10 on the campaign. The Patriots travel to Oberlin (Oberlin, OH) to play the The Phoenix in a non-league game on Tuesday, January 28. The The Phoenix go into the game with a record of 7-8. Oberlin won 78-36 in their recent non-league game against Lake Ridge Academy (North Ridgeville, OH)
