The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the North Allegheny Tigers (Wexford, PA) and the visiting Pine-Richland Rams (Gibsonia, PA), observed North Allegheny's basketball team edge Pine-Richland by a score of 41-36.

The Tigers (6-10) will now prepare for their challenge against Canon-McMillan (Canonsburg, PA). The Big Macs come into the non-league challenge with a 2-12 record. In their last challenge, Canon-McMillan was tipped by Mt. Lebanon (Pittsburgh, PA), 76-45, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Rams encounter the Montour Spartans (McKees Rocks, PA) in a non-league challenge, on Sunday, January 26. Pine-Richland will attempt to improve on its 5-10 season record. The Spartans come into the challenge with a 14-1 record after their 74-37 league win over Blackhawk (Beaver Falls, PA).
