The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the Philomath Warriors (Philomath, OR) and the visiting North Marion Huskies (Aurora, OR), observed Philomath's basketball team edge North Marion by a margin of 42-38.

The Warriors (8-7) will now prepare for their challenge against Cascade (Turner, OR). The Cougars come into the 4A Oregon West challenge with a 11-3 record. In their last challenge, Cascade edged Newport (Newport, OR), 57-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Huskies battle the Sweet Home Huskies (Sweet Home, OR) in a 4A Oregon West challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. North Marion will attempt to better on its 11-5 season record.
