North Side Gators (Shelby, MS) boosters left the game satisfied Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad nudge the visiting Riverside Bulldogs (Avon, MS), 42-38 in a league match.
With the victory, North Side upgrades its record to 16-8 on the year. The Gators travel to O'Bannon (Greenville, MS) to face the Greenwaves in a 2A Region 3 match on Saturday, January 25. The Greenwaves enter the match with a record of 12-5. O'Bannon won 62-50 in their recent league match against Charleston (Charleston, MS)
The Bulldogs now sport a 7-15 record. They put it on the line next when they host O'Bannon for a 2A Region 3 match on Friday, January 31. Riverside will face a Greenwaves squad coming off a 68-48 league win over Charleston (Charleston, MS). The Greenwaves record now stands at 14-6.
