The crowd at Friday's league challenge between the North Valley Knights (Grants Pass, OR) and the visiting Rogue River Chieftains (Rogue River, OR), observed North Valley's basketball team overwhelm Rogue River by a score of 67-36.

The Knights (6-12) will now prepare for their challenge against Brookings-Harbor (Brookings, OR). The Bruins come into the 3A Southern Oregon challenge with a 3-14 record. In their last challenge, Brookings-Harbor was routed by Lakeview (Lakeview, OR), 59-50, in a league challenge.

In their next game, the Chieftains encounter the St. Mary's Crusaders (Medford, OR) in a 3A Southern Oregon challenge, on Tuesday, January 28. Rogue River will attempt to improve on its 1-14 season record. The Crusaders come into the challenge with a 8-8 record after their 66-53 league loss to Cascade Christian (Medford, OR).
