The Plainfield East Bengals nipped the visiting Oswego Panthers basketball squad by a final score of 67-60 in Friday's league outing.
Next up, the Bengals meet the Neuqua Valley Wildcats (Naperville, IL) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, January 25. Plainfield East will attempt to advance on its 7-15 season record. The Wildcats enter the battle with a 9-9 record after their 67-49 non-league win over Christ the King (Chicago, IL).
The Panthers now own a 9-11 record. They put it on the line next when they host Romeoville for a SouthWest Prairie battle on Tuesday, January 28.
