Next, the Dragons encounter the Guthrie Jaguars (Guthrie, TX) in a 1A Region I District 8 test, on Tuesday, January 28. Paducah will attempt to improve on its 10-6 season record. The Jaguars come into the test with a 15-13 record after their 62-53 league loss to Motley County (Matador, TX).

The Bulldogs (0-15) will now prepare for their test against Valley (Turkey, TX). The Patriots come into the 1A Region I District 8 test with a 25-2 record. In their last test, Valley bounced Patton Springs (Afton, TX), 57-20, in a league test.
