Alabama High School Basketball - Selma knocks off Park Crossing

In Friday's non-league contest, the host Selma Saints basketball team scored a good 50-36 win over the Park Crossing Thunderbirds.

The Saints (18-1) will now prepare for their contest against Jemison (Jemison, AL). The Panthers come into the 5A Area 5 contest with a 14-6 record. In their last contest, Jemison defeated Montevallo (Montevallo, AL), 52-50, in a league contest.

In their next game, the Thunderbirds battle the Russell County Warriors (Seale, AL) in a 6A Area 3 contest, on Monday, January 27. Park Crossing will attempt to better on its 6-15 season record. The Warriors come into the contest with a 18-5 record after their 63-53 league loss to Pike Road (Pike Road, AL).
